Dear Festividder,
Firstly, my apologies for the delay in getting this up!
Secondly, I hope there is something in this list that you are excited to make a vid for! I just think vids are really cool! If you feel like you want to find out a bit more about me, you can find me on tumblr.
And now, in no particular order, fandom specific things.
Being Human (UK)
This series was so formative for me and it still holds a very special place in my heart. It has been many years since it was cancelled and I still mourn it. I love both the heartbreaking aspects, the worldbuilding, and the comedy of this show.
Campion (tv 1989)
Peter Davison is perfect as Albert Campion. I love a good murder mystery and there's something about Campion's bland facade hiding so much more that I find intriguing. Also I love Lugg.
Pauline Ferrand-Prevot RPF
Truly, what a season she's had. I didn't know much about her prior to Paris 2024 when I started to root for her because winning gold at your home games is always awesome. And then to see her come back to the road, win at Roubaix, then take yellow in what was supposed to be her "test" year at the TdFF? Incredible.
Jet Lag: The Game
I got super into this travel/game show earlier this year when I was going through a rough patch and it has been a source of constant delight ever since. I love the silliness of it, the interpersonal dynamics, and the absolutely gorgeous scenery.
Dimension 20: The Seven
This remains my favourite season of D20 and I love all of the Seven very much. I'm not sure I can pinpoint specifically why - but the cast, characters and story are all very important to me.
Matilda (1996) [SAFETY]
This film holds such a special place in my heart. It's powerful and moving and magical.
North and South (2007)
Yearning and unions! I found the role of industrialisation, and the active part it plays in the story, really interesting. Also I really ship Margaret/John.
Elementary (TV)
Joan Watson is perfect. And I absolutely adored what they did with Moriarty. I think this is still my fave Holmes adaptation.
The Residence (US TV 2025)
I binged this with my parents (who have never wanted to binge anything in their lives before lol) and was so utterly charmed and completely won over. I adored Cordelia Cupp and am so sad we won't get to see more of her solving mysteries.
Sister Act (movies)
There's just something joyful about these movies and I would love to a vid sharing in that joy! Deloris is an icon.
Thank you so much and I hope you have a wonderful festivids!
